1) Ongoing Commitment to our ministry

No city invites (or pays for) someone to come establish a new church… no matter how much that person loves that city… and no matter the price Jesus-Christ paid because of His love for that city.

We are forever indebted to a couple dozen churches and several dozen people who passionately invest financially in what God is doing through us, liberating us to share in instigating, conspiring, and fomenting a movement centered on the love of Jesus Christ. Our conspiring here (Québec) would be impossible without their support from there.

Part of our goal is to be a part in establishing financially autonomous québecker churches like the one in St Jérôme. They are currently supporting a québecker pastor (Jacob). Because we organize local churches toward supporting québecker pastors, our financial support must still come from outside, liberating us to continue working at a movement level with many churches across Québec.

2) One-time Gift to our ministry

“What if I’d like to give over and above my monthly commitment?” “What if I’m afraid of long-term commitment but would like to give a one-time gift anyway?”

A one-time gift of this sort also goes through World Venture (accountability reasons), and is also tax-deductible.

3) Give to the Movement

- this is a gift to the church-planting movement here in Québec (rather than to us personally)

“La Vision Conquérante” is a movement established with Louis Bourque with the goal of establishing a self-sustaining and financially interdependent church-planting movement. A few guiding principles:

• • • Recruiting qualified church planters: nobody’s perfect, but we would be remiss to send out anyone we weren’t sure that God hasn’t already spent years preparing them for one of the most challenging experiences anyone can face.
    • Intentional formation: mentoring and coaching that begins more than a year prior to the church is launched and continues well after the church is planted
    • Working in teams: sending out teams with complimentary gift-mixes rather than a solo-artist.
    • New churches give forward from the start: 10% of their offerings goes toward the next church plant.

We are currently in the process of establishing the 3rd church as a part of this movement… and as such, are still trusting God to bring in resources from the outside as the movement resources continue to grow.

A small part of this goes to us because we are church planting, but it also goes to other church planters who are part of “La Vision Conquérante”
