We took this photo at Mont Tremblant, a famous ski mountain and village about an hour north of Montréal
Our passion is to see a wave of gospel-centered disciples making disciples wash over St Jérôme, Québec, and the French-speaking world… seeing thousands of people reconciled to the God of the universe, lives transformed, marriages healed, families reconciled, neighborhoods shaken, and the DNA of countries fundamentally changed.
I was born in 1977 in the birthplace of Grunge, Starbucks, and Microsoft (otherwise known as Seattle) and raised in the Pacific Northwest. I studied theology at Davis college, met Martine in Paris while in the midst of the birth of a new French church (over the course of two summers), married Martine, moved to Quebec, learned French, had two children.
It’s an immense privilege to be part of this growing French movement of people transformed by Jesus Christ. We’re seeing lives transformed and new churches started in several places in the Montreal region and around the Province of Quebec.
My wife Martine was born in 1975 and raised in the Montreal region, where she also finished a degree in fashion She now lives in the midst of her people, les québécois, as part of this amazing movement of lives transformed by Jesus Christ.
Our son Caleb was born December 30, 2003, and Constance was born May 23 2006. Here are a few thoughts on the Montréal region:
You can check out our new church here in Quebec: Ecclésia, St Jérôme (warning, it’s all in French). Here’s a prayer drive through St Jérôme (at the north end of Montréal)
We partner with several organizations both in and out of Québec:
WorldVenture is a U.S.-based organization which facilitates the starting of new churches all over the world. Starting new churches doesn’t pay much, so we decided to work through an American organization that is already committed to this task. To help by giving financially to this movement, click here.
We also have key relationships with FEBInternational, The Fellowship of Evangelical Baptists in Canada, Missions Door, and the Fellowship French Mission… amongst others.

Hey Rob!
I just popped over here from Facebook (Happy 9 years, by the way!) and am so thrilled to see the work that you and your family are endeavoring to accomplish in your city! It is thrilling to see others with hearts on fire and a passion to see the gospel furthured before Christ’s return. We are on the verge of something… it seems “Christians” all over are either becoming genuine and truly following Jesus, or, sadly, they are falling away and becoming silent sleepers. I wish to be a part of the former and not the latter!
Many blessings to you! May you see His Kingdom come here on earth.
~Christa
p.s. I know we attended Emmaus together, but I don’t even remember what grades or how old I was. Ah well, so glad I am no longer that child, but am being matured in Him.

Hi Rob,
My 7yr old daughter is in Awanas at our church and her assignment for this week is to find a missionary. We found you in our online search and have enjoyed learning about you and your family. I am sure we will be back to your page periodically looking for updates.

Hey Rob,
Glad to see you are speaking at Mission Fest. I’ll be praying for you as you challenge young people to give up their small dreams for the big one! Any chance I could get a recording of your message? It’s a subject near to my heart. Blessings!!
