Casey Morgan puts his finger on the heart issue I mentioned a few days ago. He says…

“People around us would often say, “Wow, you guys have such a clear calling to serve overseas. I don’t think I could ever do that.” My wife and I didn’t know what to say. We felt like we were just like them. Why were we so different all of a sudden?”[1]

In reality, they weren’t all that different. Not more “spiritual.” Not more “godly.” Not “giants of the faith.” None of these things.

“Recently, I’ve been able to put my finger on exactly what separates us from the countless others back home. Willingness.”[2]

Father, please effect this same willingness in my own heart.

Amen.
